The Village Institute was the former school, in the centre of the village.

It is used for meetings and events of all kinds.

Numerous fund-raising coffee mornings are held here, with proceeds averaging £350.

The Lunch Club meets here on Tuesdays and a lively keep-fit class takes place weekly.
