The minutes of the previous meeting of 17 June having been circulated were then passed as a true record of events.

·  Email from defibrillator supplier. Forward to Treasurer

·  Chair had received letter from SBC re. Review of Polling Places with final list of potential closures including Hownam (56 electors at 1 January 2014). Chair to draft letter arguing for retention.

·  Planning Application Ref. 14/00745/FUL for retrospective approval for greenhouse/summerhouse. No comments.

Cllr Pedersen reported that there was soon to be a new Resilience Community emailing system.

Cllr Scott asked for access details for uploading KCC agendas and minutes to Morebattle website. Cllr McEwan to email details.

Cllr McEwan reported that the Playgroup are soon to move from Yetholm to Morebattle PS due to the increasing school roll.

SBC Cllr Mountford reported that a revised planning application for a single turbine at Lochtower has been rejected by the Review body following an initial rejection.

Cllr McEwan noted that Morebattle would be judged on 31 July for the village in bloom competition. Morebattle Games also take place on Saturday 9 August.

Cllr McNulty reported that the village hall roof works were underway.
