Minutes of Previous Meeting

The minutes of the previous meeting of 17 September having been circulated were then passed as a true record of events.

Matters Arising from 17 September Actions

Cllr Pedersen showed a draft of the new sign he has made for Jubilee Bridge - the originals are rusted on and cannot be moved. During discussion a member of the public pointed out that the wording of the small sign is wrong. Perhaps the whole information could be condensed into one sign - speak to SBC Cllr Nicol.

Cllr McNulty was thanked for responding to the SBC Tackling Poverty Consultation on behalf of the Community Council.

Cllr McNulty reported that the bus service was much improved.

New time tables are now available.

SBC Cllr Nicol’s request for old street names has been passed on to local community.

Cllr Dixon was unable to attend meeting of Kelso Paths group. Chair to request more be done re. blocked pathways.

Correspondence

Cllr Dixon met with Michael Moore MP at Hownam.

Salt bins not to be removed from Beirhope/Over Whitton Road

 

Vattenfall - Chair having read the whole review pointed out that no where is there mention of the road connection (Circulation file for all to read).

 

A letter was read from Cllr Cessford thanking members for considering her worthy of the ‘Bob Pringle Award’ which she received at the Flower Show.
