Noticeboard Cllr Henderson read out suggestions from local artist who had been approached by the community council. The shop owners don’t plan to refurbish the shop frontage in the near future as there are other priorities. Noted that an extra set of keys were required. |

Access and Parking Issues SBC Cllr Mountford noted that the Police did not support the use of double yellow lines at the Main Street junction. Police would prefer to be called if there is a traffic obstruction in the future. Cllr Murray had offered to try to resolve the situation. Chair to follow-up. |

Jethart and Kelso rideout to Morebattle, 23 June 2019 Chair reported that most tasks were in-hand. A volunteer was required to meet the bands off their transport. Cllr Henderson volunteered. |

Scottish Government Short-Term Lets: Consultation, deadline 19 July 2019 Chair noted that locally a number of properties are let through Air BnB as an additional outlet. Cllr Lang noted that Air BnB had widened the options for attracting holiday lets. Community council agreed that there was no immediate impact on Morebattle. |

SBC consultation on drinking alcohol in public places, deadline 30 June 2019 SBC Cllr Mountford summarised the current situation where Scottish Borders is the only Scottish region without byelaws on public drinking. The community council agreed that there were no issues in Morebattle which would justify changing that position. |
